and started with "nothing", you might just possibly
have realized that "Yuezhi" (as you and the person
"working on this Yuezhi" you mention above) could very
well be as accurate an identifyer of the invaders of
Bactria in 131 BCE as "Scythians" was of the Pechenegs
in Anna Comnena's "Alexiad"...****

this seems far from proven) merely means that
historians worth their salt should rely on the
information provided by the Chinese Chronicles
independently of the meaning of "Yuezhi", and accept
Central Asian and Greek "hearsay" with respect to
ethnic labels(recorded by Strabo, Justin et al.) as
more reliable than Chinese "hearsay" (:=))).
