Re: etymology of Persian

Different words for different satrapies/provinces of
the old Achaemenid empire. Not identical.
So you need two etymologies.
The classical etymology of "Parthia" given by
Justin/Trogus (41.1.1) [='exiles'] is interestingly
defective.
