just for a bit more clearness. Pokorny does not derive the Thracian
word from that root, merely he quiet guesses the word should belong
to the said root. Generally speaking, I observe a tendency of
overratting some knowledges. We do not know too much about the rule
of derivation of what is called "Thracian" from IE thus I am not
sure we are allowed to say IE *u > Thracian "i" when one has one
example of this kind (let by side the meaning and all above).
