"The Dudes", "The Dogs" --a nice street gang quality
like the tribes supposedly named for their favorite
weapon such as the Franks, the Saxons and the
Lombards; and my favorite, the All-Men --the
Allamanni. It definitely has a different quality than
the Celtic tree-ethnonyms.
