(Heidelberg: Carl Winter, 1976), ยง283, discuss the handful
of Hispano-Gothic names in <Un->, saying that in general the
source is probably *hu:n- 'young bear', but that the suffix
of masculine <Vniscus> 887 and feminine <Unisco> 916, 986,
etc. points towards the 'Hun' ethnonym.
