not only this aspect. In both languages is the "r" there and I doubt
about separate but paralel developments here . Rumanian "secarã" < Lat.
secale and Alb "thekër" with "r" from something else. So far I
remember, Latin "secale" is itself a loan word from an "unknown"
eastern language, thus claimining it to be from Latin should be a bit
weak.
