In what sense "Doric"? How do you know? (a) Does the distinction between
Doric and non-Doric make sense at the very early time you must be talking
of? (I think it doesn't - the "Doric invasion" is a nice idea, but is based
on shaky evidence.)
(b) What evidence allows you to disentangle that later situation and fix
Herakles in one group and not others?
(Since Herakles is in Homer, I think there can't be any such evidence.)

Or do you simply mean that later, in early Classical times, the Dorians
chose Herakles as a hero?
