PIE cognates tally.doc

The table has been compiled based on cognate tables in Mallory and
Adams (2006). A homeland by definition must be fixed in time and
space. Sanskrit has the most words relating to time and space. The
fewer agricultural terms in Sanskrit may show that it is older than
agriculture or is not linked to it in any significant way.
