Ossetic
arm "arm, hand"
xud "cap"
ærmxud "mitten, gauntlet" (literally "arm-hat") (sic!)

That hat/hood word was assigned to NWBlock by Kuhn since it couldn't
fit into a purely Germanic pedigree. Perhaps other supposed
NWBlock words can be located here? Eg

k'opp "can, (wooden) mug"
c'upp "top"
where the cognates of 'cup' and 'top' in Proto-Germanic can't be
directly from PIE because the root constraint outlawing roots of type
**ged-.

gæpp "jump"

(c = ts, ' is glottalization)
