So do Baltic and Slavic languages, with 'give' and all its derivatives
showing OCS a, Lith. uo < *oh3, and 'put, place' and its derivatives
showing OCS e^, Lith. e: < *eh1. Of course in word-initial position
reflexes of *d and *dH are not distinguishable in Balto-Slavic; still,
the reduplicated present underlying OCS dez^doN, (O)Lith. 2pl. deste is
*dHe-dH(h1)- with no Winter's Law, and so with *dH rather than *d.
