BTW if the motivation for deriving thematics from athematics was to
replace mobile-stress paradigms with fixed-stress ones, eg. by new
learners (mobile stress isn't making Russian any easier to learn!),
that need would have been eliminated in the aorist by the presence of
the always-stressed augment.
