Last Gasp.... was Help with Germanic & Scythian etymology

Just hoping someone or anyone can help tie up a few loose threads:


1) Any chance the Norse "Oski" could be a cognate of the Iscio/Hiscion
which is listed in the Historia Britonum of Nennius?

2) Also, the same text mentions "Fethuir" - any chance that is a
cognate of the English 'father'?
