Could this reconstructed word for "comb" be a nice PIE
one? It comes from the *pek^- "to comb", *pekû-
"sheep, small cattle", but I don´t understand the
suffix.
Latin pecten < *pek^ten-, *pek^tN
Greek kteis < *pk^ten-s-
