1) ek^wos "horse"
Greek hippos = Sansk as^va = Avestan aspa

2) wik^wos "all, same"
Greek is(s)os - Sansk vis^va = Avestan vispa

3) k^won "dog"
Greek kyon (<*k^uwon) = Snsk s^van = Avestan span

Comparing issos and hippos we see a different treatment. I think hippos is not the regular development of *ek^wos. It eems to me dialectal, from some IE adstratum.Expected form would be *essos or *ep(p)os. Greek isos <*wik^wos is not unanimous, someone point to *wiswos.

Velar+w also realized palatalization before e/i, cf.
g^hwe:r > Greek the:r (dialectal phe:r), but in this case, we see a g^Hw>gWh treatment

Perhaps initial K^w- > *KW-, but medial -k^w->-kw- (with many possible Greek developmente, -ss-, -tt-, -kk-, -pp-).
I know hippos has a variant hikkos. Cf. lakkos < *lakwo-

Sanskrit s^veta (<*k^woito-) "white" has been comparing to Greek Mount Pindos (<*k^Windo-, kwîtno-) and sitos "wheat" (<*k^witos)
