Primordial couple of serpentine Water Deities
Okeanos-Ophion-Typhon-Phorkys and Tethys-Eurynome-Ekhidna-Keto
1. Te:thys < *Tawatu < Tiamat, probably cognate of Thetis, Titan, Tityos, and of Sanskrit Diti, Daitya.
This couple begot an egg containing Sky and Earth.
Both halves of egg are separated by the Air-God, Kronos-Zeus-Atlas, that was born together with his brother the Earth-God, Prometheus-Ithax-Poseidon.
The Primordial Serpents struggled with these newer deities. The power of Zeus and intelligence of Prometheus defeated Ophion and Eurynome and their monstruous offspring, the Gigantes-Titanes. Prometheus created manking from earth and monsters' blood.
2. Kronos akin to Sumerian An-Enlil-Marduk; Prometheus akin to Enki-Ea. Enki-Ea, like Poseidon, combined earthly and watery traits.
