Auca, MaxakalĂ­, Iate (Yate), Dera, Angaatiha, and Ekari lack
(phonemic) continuant consonants - i.e. no fricatives.

In the UPSID survey of 317 languages, 7% had no fricative *phonemes*
and 12% had only one.
