This verb could easily be a -ye/o-stem: *suh1-ye/o-,
which is even supported by the fact that it has middle
forms of the type 3sg.pret.midd. suttati and
3sg.imp.midd. suttaru, which must be analysed as
su-ttati and su-ttaru, showing the unextended stem su-
< *suh1-.
All in all, there is not a single convincing example
of a pure thematic verb in Anatolian of the type
*CC-é-ti or *CeC-e-ti.
