Labiovelar Phonological Identity???

From what I gather, the series kW - gW - gWH is simply a form of the
series k - g - gH, but with rounded lips.
Now, this would, by virtue of the sound's nature, distort the
following vowel. Is this distortion present in any Indo-European
languages, and if so, how does it manifest itself?
(And as for the "glottalic series": are these just ejectives, or is
there a pharyngeal roughness to them?)
