weeds/brambles', probably from extended and suffixed zero-grade form
*plaks-keH2 (*ks > Alb. /ç/ in final position, see above *bak-); b.

noun <plaçkitje> `boot, plunder'; <plaçkitës> `looter, pillager,
plunder'. Word has entered in Serbo-Croatian as <plac^ka> `loot,
plunder', plac^kati `to plunder, loot' etc.. 2. <plang/plëng>
`property, everything one has: house and home; family; worldly goods',
attested in NP <me plang e shtëpi> `with everything one has: with
house and home' by nasalized form *plank-o due to voicing of velar

to *plaH2k-, contracted to *pla:k-, probably an extended root of
*pel-1 `to throw, strike,drive'. 1. Alb. <plas> `to burst, split,
throw, slam' with prefixed form <për-plas> `to crash' from suffixed
zero-grade form *plH2k-t-yo > PAlb. platya with reduction of cluster
kt- in t- (see *ok'to:- > Alb. <tetë> `eight' < *ok'to:to): OCS
plac^ `lament', plakati `to lament'; literally `to burst' (cf. Alb.
plas vajit `to burst in lament'). 2. Deverbative <plasë> `crack,
fissure', <përplasje> `crash'. 3. <plasarit> `to crack; (of skin)
chap', extended originally adjective form, abstract noun <plasaritje>
`crack'. 3. <plagë> `wound' from suffixed zero-grade form *plH2g-eH2:
Latin pla:ga `id.': MIr le:n `id.'. It was supposed that it can be a
loan from Latin, but long /a:/ would yield Alb. /o/. To avoid this, it
