Voicing of unvoiced stops

If we take PIE root *pa:- `to feed, protect' with its oldest form
*peH2-, colored to *paH2- and later contracted to *pa- we may assume
that laryngeal metathesis *pH2a- caused voicing of unvoiced bilabial
stop in Alb. <barí> `shepherd' (cf. Lat. pastor), derived from
extended stem *pH2aria with long /í/ as a result of contraction of
diphthong /ia/.
Its o-grade form *po:- from oldest one *peH3-, colored to *poH3- and
contracted to *po:- should be the perform of Alb. <bukë> `bread'
(cf. Lat. panis) from *pH3o-keH2 with voicing of bilabial stop /p/
to /b/ due to metathesis *oH3 > *H3o.
*perH1- `to drizzle, sprinkle, jet' with variant form *preH1-,
contracted to *pre:-. 1. Alb. <bre-ron> `to drizzle' I think is a
result of metathesis of laryngeal *eH1 > *H1e that causes the
voicing of bilabial stop, phenomenon attested as well in Alb. <për-
bij> `to swallow' from zero-grade form of PIE *pH3i-njo of *piH3-,
attested as well in Illyrian god name Bind, probably from participle
form *pH3i-nt-.
