If I get you right, you think that the root is *h1ek'u-/h1k'u which is
made into *oh1k'ú- via Jens's o-infix? Hm well, there's a nice idea. That
seems like an elegant way to solve the problem of the final accent, the
acute in Slavic and the connection with the "horse" word. Very nice...
