As many listmembers know, I have been skeptical of Rasmussen's proposed
*O-prefix/infix as a way of explaining PIE root-*o vocalism.
I would argue that there are much more plausible theories to explain
it.
If Jens is agreeable, I propose we look closely at each incidence of
*o-vocalism, and discuss whether the *O-theory or some other theory is more
likely.
