<snip>

PIE *kWei- means 'to arrange, to put in order' and not 'to do' in
general (please see the meaning of the Sanskrit, Slavic words etc...)

So please explain what is the role of the suffix *pri 'at' here ?

   'at' + 'to arrange'  => "to cause" ? :)

Thanks again,
   Marius

Patrick:

In my opinion, PIE *kWei- has the basic meaning of 'pack together', as with a school of fish.
