Your argument does make sense, but the Etruscan text doesn't make room
to doubt, as /þra/ and /sce/ are written as two separate words. But
surely /sce/ is a past form.

Thus the inscription would read like this:
eca (this) sren (figure, image) tva (shows) ixnac (how) hercle
(Hercules) unial (Juno's) clan (son) þra (breast?) sce (ate?)
