Since "spleen" was mentioned, what is the most probable PIE?
Gk. sple:n, splagkhnon < *sple:n-, *spl&ng^Hnom
Skt. plihan- < *pl&g^Hon-
Avestan sp&r&zan M *spLg^(H)on-
Armenian p'aicaln < *spalg^al-
L. lien, < *slegHen-
OCS. slezena < *sleg^(H)en-
Lith. bluznis O.Prus. blusne < *blug^(H)ni-
OIr. selg < *spelg^(H)-

Could be the original form of *negWHro- "kidney" a neuter *negWHr-;-n-, analogous to *yekWr(t)-yekWn- "liver"?

I wanted (but I didn't arrive yet) to add this example *negWh-r-
'reins' as an additional argument for the existence of a PIE root *negW
(h)- and of the -ro suffix.

As you know the 'object' is 'dark': *negWh-r- (but its nature is
different).

Despite Piotr, assertions: there are not roots nekWt- or negWhr- in
PIE . -r- and -t- are extensions (even they are ancient ones)
