First, thanks a lot Torsten for your examples, a very good material.
Let allow me to clarify the rule first, to can easy folow it:
"X-ro" = "Y" means "Y is ressembling with X in some (important)
aspects BUT the nature-of X is different from the nature-of Y"
The difference regarding 'the nature of X and Y' is important to be
pointed out in order not to fail in another derivation: Y is 'an'
X / Y is 'a' kind-of(X)
To well formalize:

b. " 'the-nature-of(X) IS-DIFFERENT-FROM the-nature-of(Y)"
and
c. "Y is-ressembling/it-looks-like X"

sky' don't have the same nature with *nbh-ro 'fog, foam' but they
are very ressembling phenomenons)

unhappy, passive person) 'LIKE' Awaken is (in oposition with a
sleeping person) >>
However 'active, vigilent, full-of-live' doesn't have the same
nature with AWAKENED (but we can make a strong parallelism as
between 'a foam and a cloud' )

1. Thanks Patrick, to well observed that *budh-ro is quite different
from *bhudh-to and the verbs *bheud-/*bhoud- ...
(even the intensity here is occasionally :) (sorry) -> 'generated'
by 'the nature' of *bheudh- in my opinion, and not by *-ro)
