My opinion is that the Romanian words : 'baci', 'bade' 'camarade, dear
friend' is not linked to Romanian bãT /b&c/ 'stick' : we have here two
distinct roots :

I. Lith. batis, English boy < PIE *bheh2- 'elder brother, father,
friend' extended in *bheh2-d/t- and *bheh2-w-

Abdullah please tell me if the Albanian form is baç or bac (bac -> is
the form indicated in 'my fjalor' the Romanian one is bac^). This is
important in order to can reconstruct an s-extension or a -t-ja
extension

If somebody can well derive English boy here please to do it....

II. As for Romanian bãT 'pointed stick' this is the Root *bHh2(e)k(')-
