Is there any etymology for English yule (OE geol, Anglian giuli ON jól, ýlir Gothic jiuleis) beside *yegWH-, cf. Greek zophos?

In some sites I find attempts to link it to *kWelo- "to turno", what would lead to a -hwula- ending...
