No, I don't have ready access to an Albanian dictionary. (The nearest
one I know of is in the reference - not loan! - section of a public
library 50 minutes' drive away!) Therefore, for all I know, /D/ could
derive from PIE *g^ or *g^H in all of these cases. Pokorny agrees
that _vjedh_ derives from PIE *weg^H, so I don't think there is a
problem with _vjedhull_ 'badger'.
On what basis do you claim contrariwise that /D/ from *d or *dH merged
with the outcomes of PIE *g^and *g^H before the loss of intervocalic /D/?
It's possible that there is an analogical restoration in the plural
_kedha_ of _kedh_ - what sort of irregularities does Albanian tolerate
in plurals in -a?
