it seems you don't and I consider one has not seen the explanation.
There is no "intervocalic "b/v" dropping" see my 3 part article in
balkanika. There is a such image just because one of the vowel is "u",
thus there is a contraction of a later grminate (bu/vu or ub/uv > uu >u)
*abellona will never have any chances to give aluna; the "au-" remains
"au-" in initial position.
thus an *abellona > *aulluna > *aulunĂ£ but never "alunĂ£"
