This is the secondary meaning and function of it. The primeval:
the past participle of the verb "to hate": <a urî> < horrere,
horrescere via a reconstructed form *horrire. Further reflexes
of the Romanian verb <a urî>: <urîcios> "antipathic; unpleasant",
<urîtor> "hater".
