Well, just like the back "rounded" glide of many languages,
although I'm not entirely sure that the velar articulation
is present in every case of this sort of 'v', since as we've
been discussing, this sound is a often a form of 'w' on its
way to becoming a fricative 'v', so the velar articulation
surely often drops off somewhere along the way.

Well no, it did seem different again from that, but who knows
if more people don't do it than I've realized.

Oh I couldn't tell you. The only thing I know about Dutch is
that it's spoken in both Holland, and the Netherlands. ;^)
