By the way :
Latin na:sus was a 'recent' Loan in Latin (loaned after sec III
BC) (from where could be?) because the intervocalic V-s-V give V-r-V
in Latin, around sec. IV-III BC.
The Latin originar word for 'nose' is Lat. 'na:ris' <
Romanian 'narã'.
