Hmm, I wasn't aware that "owl" was an onomatopoeic word. "Cuckoo" is
certainly one, though. I've never heard of a dog called a "bow-
wow". :p Still, I understand your point and think you're right.
Onomatopoeic words are rather unpredictable, then.
