Damn you! :P Well, fine but you have to admit that
even so, it opens the door for incorporation in the
future because it can be mistaken by anyone as the
noun "la suicide" made directly into a verb.
Actually, come to think of it, I do remember two
quirky "Frenglophones" when I attended university.
They were cousins who came right off a Manitoba farm
and they grew up in a French-speaking household
as long as you expanded the term of "French" :)
So in their special créole, they would freely
shake-and-bake French and English together in ways
that would traumatize the average bilingual
bystander. They would bravely sew in English verbs
into French sentences with the precision of a
college-trained surgeon. It gave me a mental whiplash
just listening to their conversations involving
verbs such as the very versatile word "fetcher".
Noun incorporation, whether it be English or French
in origin, would be their everyday crime. Their
ignorance of standardized grammatical rules pleasured
me very much, hehe.
At any rate, as extreme as that example is, I don't
take for granted the possibility of incorporation in
any language, even if it may be rare in that language
because it's, I think, the fundamentally natural thing
to do overall.
