I just wanted to thank everyone for their extensive responses!
I had pondered whether the standard etymology of the god Tiw might be
questioned to see whether it actually derived from the same root as
Teutates. From reviewing your answers, that doesn't seem possible... oh
well... another half baked scheme laid to rest :^)
