In general, initial <t-> in Indic (and in most other IE languages)
should make you expect a reflex of PGmc. *þ (produced by Grimm's Law),
i.e. English <th->, German <d->, Old Norse <þ->, etc., as in

Skt. trayas '3' : Eng. three : Ger. drei : ON þrír
