Note Haitian Creole 'zétwal' "star" (< 'les étoiles' /lé-z-étwal/,
from which a new singular is extracted).
Lousiana French 'zadiko' (< 'les haricots' /lé-z-arikó/), whence
AmEng 'zydeco' (music).
