I think, after I take a look in many websites, for my knowledge of
Arabic is just a little over zero, that -at is regular plural in
Arabic and is common as for animate (cf. talebah f. 'student', talebat
'students', mu'allim 'teacher', pl. 'mu'allimat 'teacher's) and
inanimate (cf. Ramaadan 'month', pl. 'Ramaadanaat).
