The academic Dictionary of the Lithuanian language is now available
online. The dictionary contains about a million words, the intention of
the compilers being to include all the available Lithuanian lexis,
including dialects and Old Lithuanian texts. The software behind the
site is still rather instable, but hopefully this will be fixed soon.

To view the entries, go to

http://www.lkz.lt/startas.htm

, enter the beginning of the head-word(s) you are interested in (eg.,
<obuolas>) and press [Ies^koti]; then click a headword in the left
frame to view the entry.

Abbreviations, sources etc. are explained/desribed on the appropriate
pages of the site (the English vesrion is still under construction,
though).
