as I pointed on balkanika, maybe the Alb. word is not related at all
here with hordeum and Gerste. Fro this see South Slavic "trice/trici"
and
Rom. "t�r�tse". The voicing of tr to dr in Alb. should be seen as in
"drandafill" versus "trandafir"
