I wonder in how far there is a Germanic Balto-Slavic or more a
Germanic-Slavic connection.

I think at some words as liebe-ljuba, milch-mleko, arbeit-rabota,
essen-edem, nichts-nits,nein-niet, da-ta(mo), zu-do, just mentionig a
few words. I don't know how many of them are in Baltic as well.
