Not by regular sound change (kurva < *kury, *kurUve <
*kouru:; ko(u)re: < *korwa: c.q. *koru:).

Another possible link is with Germanic E. whore, OHG huora,
but that is usually derived from *ka:r-a: ("beloved"), which
doesn't fit the Slavic word.
