Dacian has (1) "erig^erio" (2) which appears to mean "leader" and has
(1) "reg^e" too in the sense of king. Interesting, for the reign of
Duras there is used constant the therm "mairo basileo" (big king) but
not "reg^e". Boirobista (Burebista) is never called basileo but
constantly "reg^e".
(1)- not forget the authenticity of the inscriptions is not established
(2)- g^ is represented trough a special character which was discussed
once here. The value of this sign is assumed to be "g^" since it appears
in the name of "Diegis" the brother of Decebal.
Since I mentioned Decebal... there is nowhere in these inscriptions the
name "Decebalo" with the first vowel an "e" but "Dacebalo/Dacibalo",with
the first vowel an "a". Very curious, indeed...
