keeping in mind that the Dacian Inscriptions can be a false, one could
say what one finds there:
Zabelo=war
zabelie= sword

In Serbian there is "sabie", in Rom. "sabie" (< sabele ?).

There is in "zabelo" and "zabelie" not an "ll" as in Latin "bellum" but
a simple "l". In fact, there is no geminata at all in all the texts.
Slavic, inclusive Russian should have borrowed it from Dacians as well.
This is just a posibility but I repeat myself, one has to keep in mind
these texts are susceptible of not being original Dacians but a late
false.
