I think so. Problem is, no one knows much about Illyrian. Kuhn is keen
to point out the many toponymic links of this area with the
Mediterranean, ultimately tied up with his idea that the various
Italic tribes had emigrated from the Nordwestblock area or somewhere
near it (old correspondences between Germanic and Latin, more recent
ones between Germanic and Celtic would be explained by Italics moving
out from a geographical buffer position between Celtic and Germanic.
