I don't know if in French is the sense of "to care" but in Rom. this is
the only sense it has:
"Nu-mi pas�" ( I don't care ); there is nothing with "think about" but
the semantism has not heavy trouble of being explained. The funny thing
here is that there is the verb "apas�" which means "bedrucken" and
"apasator" "schiwerig" and all its family of derivatives speak for
semantism of "Schwierigkeit" and I understand the semantism of "I don't
care" not as a evolution from Latin "to think" but as "I don't have
troubles with" due the meaning of its family.
