Hello All,
Alb transformation rd > rdh is present in the Latin Loans and the
Common Words with Romanian.

Latin Loans in Albanian:
========================
Lat. surdus > Rom. surd <-> Alb. shurdhër / shurdhët
Lat. la:r(i)dum > Rom. lard <-> Alb. lardh
Lat. viridis > Rom. verde <-> Alb. verdhë
Lat. chorda > Rom. coardã <-> Alb. kordhë

Alb. - Rom. Common Words
========================
Rom. gard - Alb. gardh 'fence'
Rom. urda - Alb. urdha 'kind of sweet cheese'
Rom. zgardã - Alb. shkardhë 'collar'

In order to can establish a final timeframe I need to address some
Albanian words that could be Loans for Slavic :

1. Alb çerdhë 'nest' - Sl. c^erda 'herd' ?(but the semantism cannot
fit in my opinion). Other etymology?

2. Alb. kordhë 'sword'?

3. Alb. shkërdhec ? 'barrel'?

Any help related to possible etymologies for these words?

Based on these etymologies the timeframe for Alb. rd > rdh is either
around 600 BC or around 900 BC

Thanks and Best Regards,
Marius Alexandru

P.S. From my list the single affected word is Rom. urda that should
be passed to X.
