The AHD list contains only those roots that have interesting reflexes in
Modern English. It isn't a full inventory of IE roots, or it would have
to be much longer. However, *we:r-o- is there, though Watkins's analysis
is slightly different from what I have given here:

An internal Germanic loan, I suppose (from German Ehre into the modern
Scandinavian languages), rather than ON inheritance.

I've already cited most of them. They also form compounds, e.g. ON
langæ:r, which corresponds exactly to Lat. longaevus.
