No, these seem to contain the zero grade of the Hoffmann suffix added to
the compositional form of a thematic stem, with a final *-i- (*-i- +
-Hn-o-). <re:gi:na> is analogical. The old form was *h3re:g^-n-ih2 as in
Skt. ra:jn^i:, and that of course _is_ parallel to *potnih2.
